Freedivers safely swim with sharks
Posted By Francesca Koe on Sunday Feb 7, 2010 @ 16:47 in Freediving
World news from the UK DailyMail today features Frederic Buyle's photographs capturing amazing moments spent in the water by William Winram and Pierre Frolla as they were swimming and freediving with sharks off the coast of South Africa and in the eastern Pacific.
Besides their fantastic content and perspective, what makes Fred’s photographs truly extraordinary and distinctly different from any other underwater photography is a zen approach to this media. Fred never uses any breathing aids when he is underwater taking photos and he is always freediving, at times under constant weight and other times using free immersion.
